Texas girl in the UK

I'm one week into the expat life and still getting situated. It's very nice for us all (husband, two dogs, and myself) to be under the same roof again after a few months apart. When I actually stop and think about how we're living in England now, it gets a little surreal and disorienting, but for the most part right now I'm focusing on the mundane day-to-day things you have to do when you've moved to a new place.
